It’s the first time the home has been for sale since it was built in 1982.
The five-bedroom, six-bath spread, which has been featured in shelter magazines over the years, is at 30 Beachfront Lane in New Rochelle, NY. It’s part of a tony, gated community of just 12 homes, 35 minutes by car from the city.

Goldfinger — who died last year and designed homes in New York the Hamptons, New Jersey, Connecticut, Anguilla and New Mexico — is known as an original architect.
One of the homes he designed was featured in 2013’s “The Wolf of Wall Street” as the setting for a wild party. (The home, in Sands Point on Long Island’s North Shore, was built in 1981 for then-executive of Weight Watchers, Fred Jaroslow.)

In his obituary, the New York Times resurrected a quote from his 1992 book, “Myron Goldfinger: Architect.”
“All architecture must eventually fade and return to dust,” Goldfinger wrote. “The fashion of the moment is so temporary. Only the timeless basic geometry repeats in time.”
While Goldfinger built the home in 1982, its footprint was expanded in 1999.
