Joe Keery’s Steve Harrington has been a vital figure for the Netflix show since its debut in 2016. In fact, the character has had a remarkable redemption arc, going from Nancy’s stereotypical jerky boyfriend to an absolute fan favorite.
By the end of Stranger Things season 5, Volume 1, Steve was stuck in the Upside Down with Dustin, Nancy, and Jonathan after following the Demogorgon they thought could lead them to Holly. His last time in the Upside Down was in season 4, when he, Nancy, and Robin tried to kill Vecna. Steve has certainly come a long way in the four years across the Stranger Things timeline, and thankfully, he didn’t follow in his dad’s footsteps.
