Margot Robbie made a bold style statement at the premiere of A Big Bold Beautiful Journey.
The Barbie star, 35, wore a Mugler white corset gown, which features a black halter neck and bold leg slits, to the premiere held at AMC Lincoln Square in New York City on Monday, Sept. 15. She completed the bold look with a simple updo, a Lorraine Schwartz gold bangle with a diamond center stone, as well as earrings and rings from the jewelry designer.
The dress design is a reissue of Thierry Mugler’s 1998 Spring Haute Couture design. Her stylist, Andrew Mukamal, shared an image from the original runway show on Instagram, in which model and art dealer Honor Fraser walked in the look.
Robbie posed on the carpet opposite her costar Colin Farrell, who wore a slate gray double-breasted suit with a matching shirt, unbuttoned to reveal a small gold chain. He completed the look with black patent leather dress shoes.
This is the second Mugler look the actress has worn on the A Big Bold Beautiful Journey press tour. In London on Sept. 11, the actress wore a tailleur soutien-gorge lingerie look from the fashion house’s Fall-Winter 1998-1999 collection. That ensemble featured a satin bralette paired with a midi skirt with a slit, a trench coat, and pointed-toe pumps, all in nude and blush pink.
