Intel’s software team has delivered another performance-tuned driver update for the Intel Arc GPUs featured on Core Ultra chips, offering a massive boost in performance in several games.
Intel Arc GPUs Receive Game On Driver Support For Last Epoch & Sea of Thieves DX12 Update, Core Ultra’s Integrated GPU Gets Up To A 155% Performance Improvement In Games
Intel has started to deliver some Core Ultra-specific game performance optimizations with its latest GPU driver package. In the previous driver update, we saw a couple of games see a boost in game performance on the Core Ultra “Meteor Lake” platform but with the latest Arc Graphics 5333 WHQL driver package, you are looking at improvements across 16 titles & support for two new games that include Last Epoch & the DX12 update for Sea of Thieves.
Furthermore, multiple titles are seeing big improvements such as +155% in Just Cause 4, 65% in Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, 49% in Snowrunner, and 24% in It Takes Two. All of these titles are using the DX11 API so it’s good to see that Intel is taking the time out to optimize games that use older APIs and not just focusing on newer titles.
