Florida basketball’s Boogie Fland has been named to the Bob Cousey Point Guard of the Year Top 20 preseason listed on Oct. 27.
The sophomore guard averaged 13.5 points and 5.1 assists during his freshman season at Arkansas. Notably, six other players from the SEC were featured on the list.
The Cousey Award is part of the Naismith Starting five positional awards, which featured Walter Clayton Jr. as a top five finalist last season.
