Featured artist Bob Hernandez’s art exhibit “Celebrating Life” is now open until Nov. 19 at The Main in Newhall. Hernandez said this gallery was something he wanted to do for years.
“It’s probably later in life, you know, when you when you paint later in life, and then you run out of paint and you run out of inspiration, well, this is kind of the last of it. I emptied it all out in this exhibit.,” Hernandez said.
He added that he loves doing people when he does his art.
“I feel that it allows me a better way of expressing myself through doing people … They all have wonderful character in their faces, especially when they’re singing or playing an instrument. The character of the person comes out,” Hernandez said.
