The 2025 NBA season is here, and that means every team’s fanbase believes they have a shot at an NBA Championship this year. While more than half of those fans will end up disappointed, wishful thinking is a great way to enjoy the start of the season!
As in past years, a select number of teams will roll out new Statement Edition jerseys, which they will sport sporadically throughout the schedule. This year, six teams were selected to receive a fresh Statement uniform.

One of Chicago’s most iconic looks is coming back as the Bulls’ Statement Edition jersey brings back the famed red pin-striping and bold red accents.
Los Angeles Lakers 2025 NBA Statement Edition Jersey
Going with a simpler look, the Lakers’ Statement Edition jersey is prominently purple with a single yellow stripe going down the base of the jersey and a white stripe on the arm and neck area.
New York Knicks 2025 NBA Statement Edition Jersey
After an Eastern Conference Finals appearance, the Knicks look to make a statement with their new jerseys. The team’s alternate jerseys feature an all-black base with orange and blue gradients on the side.

Tied in with a rebrand entering the season, the Magic’s Statement jerseys feature the Magic logo slanted upward on the chest. White pin-striping overtakes the majority of the jersey as it’s a nod to the team’s original warm-up jackets they used to wear.

An all-black look highlights the Suns’ Statement Edition as the sides and neck feature a purple and orange gradient, with ‘Phoenix’ displayed on a slant on the chest.
