▪ Somerville boys’ basketball coach Mark Antonelli notched his 200th career win with a 73-39 triumph over Revere. A Somerville alum, Antonelli took over the program in 2008 after five years as an assistant under Paul Garrity.
“It’s very rewarding,” said Antonelli. “I grew up here in Somerville and played basketball, the only thing I wanted to do was be the coach here. Being able to do it here with these kids was very rewarding.”
▪ By a 66-62 margin, Danvers boys’ basketball defeated Peabody for the first time in five years thanks to Connor DiTomaso’s late 3-pointer.
▪ Dracut/Tyngsborough boys’ hockey senior captain Charlie Wilkie notched his 100th career point in the second period of a 6-3 win against Lowell.
▪ Chelmsford swimming coach Craig Vitale was celebrated for his 100th victory after the Lions defeated Central Catholic, 100-58.

▪ With 23 points in an 81-57 loss to Brewster (N.H.) on Wednesday, Central Catholic senior Javi Lopez became the all-time leading scorer in school history, boys or girls, surpassing Katie Zenevitch’s mark of 1,518 points, set in 2010. Lopez entered the game needing 13 to match her and finished the night with 1,528 points.
▪ Brad Peterson drilled the winning 3-pointer with 8.2 seconds left as Hanover stunned Patriot League fisher foe Plymouth South, snapping its eight-game winning streak. Globe correspondent Tyler Amaral was on hand to break it all down as Ryan Mutschler led the way with 21 points.
▪ Sophomore Sarah Michel finished her 20-point night with the winning 3-pointer to give Blue Hills a 47-45 win over Norfolk Aggie.

“Playing D1 football and studying at a top tier school in the country has always been a goal of mine since I was a kid,” Chase wrote on social media.
▪ Andover boys’ hockey coach Kevin Drew has resigned midseason, according to the Eagle Tribune, which stated he declined to go into specifics but called it a “difference of opinion.”
Anthony Licciardello, the JV coach for the past decade, and varsity assistant Peter Loring will take over coaching duties for the remainder of this season before the school launches a full search.
Drew has coached Andover hockey for almost 12 years, five with the girls’ team and six-plus with the boys. He was 104-91-26 overall, with a 58-39-12 mark leading the girls and 46-52-14 for the boys, including a 1-6-1 record this winter. He led the girls to the 2019 Division 1 semifinals.

Salem High is set to retire Evelyn Oquendo’s No. 24 jersey in a ceremony on Friday (5:30 p.m.). Oquendo will be the first female athlete in school history to have her number retired.
Oquendo, a 1997 inductee into the school’s Hall of Fame, was a standout basketball player, leading the Witches to an undefeated season in 1979-80 as the starting point guard. A 1982 Globe All-Scholastic, she led Salem to the 1982 North Regional championship.
She went on to become a three-time NCAA First-Team All-American at Salem State and a four-time MASCAC Player of the Year. Still the school’s all-time leading scorer with 1,738 points, her number was retired by Salem State in 2010.
Oquendo has worked as a physical education teacher at Collins Middle School in Salem since 2007 and coached the Witches’ girls’ varsity team from 2017-22.
