There are six movies in the Jurassic Park series, with another due for release in 2026, and the upcoming Jurassic World Rebirth will likely feature at least one new dinosaur. While the first Jurassic Park movie had a simple story, with real dinosaurs being recreated for display in a theme park, the Jurassic Park reboot’s focus shifted to genetic engineering, as the scientists created powerful hybrid dinosaurs.
    The most recent movies in the Jurassic Park timeline have starred genetically engineered hybrid dinosaurs like the Indominus Rex, rather than the more familiar ones. While these dinosaurs’ mixed DNA may make them smarter and more dangerous, it does not necessarily make them more powerful.
