Chance Briggs, Kentwood: The junior two-way athlete caught three touchdowns passes and also had an interception against Central Private. He caught three passes for 76 yards.
Emmy Graves, St. Joseph’s: The sophomore tallied 13 assists and seven kills to help send the Redstickers to the quarterfinals.
Monet Temple, University High: The Cubs freshman tallied 12 kills, five digs and two aces against Berwick in a 3-0 win. She also had 11 kills and five aces against L.B. Landry.
John Russell Demoss, Catholic: The Bears senior linebacker scored two defensive touchdowns against Zachary. He returned a fumble 15 yards for a touchdown and also had a 61-yard pick six.
