Old favorites and new treats are featured on Starbucks holiday menu

    It must be the start of the holiday season because on Nov. 6, Starbucks is bringing back its festive cups, holiday drinks, and food.
    Seasonal favorites like Peppermint Mocha, Brulée Latte, Iced Sugar Cookie Latte, and Iced Gingerbread Chai are back on the menu, as well as fan-favorite Snowman Cookie, a buttery shortbread cookie decorated with white chocolate icing.
    Holiday classics, such as the Eggnog Latte and Chestnut Praline Latte, will return to the menu as the season progresses.
    Customers will notice this week their lattes and coffees come in festive cups, a holiday tradition that was first introduced by the Seattle-based coffee chain in 1997.
    The design of this year’s cups is inspired by the green and red aprons worn by the cafe’s baristas and feature holiday plaids and apron strings made to look like holiday ribbons and bows.
    The seasonal motif will continue throughout the stores during the holidays with boughs of evergreen garland and velvet ribbons.
    “There’s something unmistakably magical about that moment the cups arrive – it’s as if the season officially begins,” said Starbucks Creative Director Kristy Cameron in a media announcement. “The return to the coffeehouse and getting back to our roots really inspired us.”

    To spice up the holiday season a bit, the coffee chain is introducing new menu items, including the Cinnamon Pull-Apart, which features flaky croissant pieces sprinkled with cinnamon sugar and topped with crunchy streusel.
