Christ Lutheran Church in Great Kills will present a benefit concert featuring an eclectic mix of musical selections ranging from classical Bach to contemporary Beatles hits on Saturday, Sept. 27, at 4 p.m.
The organ concert, titled “2B or Not 2B,” will take place in the church sanctuary at 121 Cleveland Ave. The program will include selections from Bach, the Beatles, Broadway, and beyond, with proceeds supporting the church’s music ministry and community outreach efforts.
The concert’s title offers a playful nod to Shakespeare’s famous soliloquy while reflecting the diverse nature of the musical program and the church’s creative approach to musical outreach.
Founded in 1925 by German-American Lutherans, Christ Lutheran Church has served as a cultural and spiritual cornerstone of Staten Island for nearly a century. The church has built a reputation for its vibrant music ministry, which encompasses regular worship music, seasonal concerts, and special events that engage both congregation members and the broader community.
The benefit concert is open to the public. More information is available on Christ Lutheran Church’s website.
