Warning: Spoilers for Dragon Ball Daima, Episode #9Dragon Ball Daima has established the existence of a magical artifact known as the Evil Third Eye, which Gomah claims could make him many times more powerful. Gomah has no idea where this artifact is, however, but someone else in the series just might.
The Third Eye was first mentioned in the first episode of Daima by Gomah, who debated on using the Earth’s Dragon Balls to wish for possession of the object before ultimately using the wish to turn Goku and friends into children. Gomah has come to regret that choice, now that Goku and his allies have infiltrated the Demon Realm, preferring he had the Evil Third Eye to deal with them. Without the Dragon Balls, however, Gomah has no idea where to look for the Evil Third Eye, as it could be almost anywhere within the Demon Realm. Fans, on the other hand, may now know exactly where the Third Eye is.

Not much is known about the Evil Third Eye, given that it was only first mentioned in Daima itself. It is known to be extremely powerful, and was used by previous Demon Kings, like Abura. However, the Evil Third Eye was somehow lost during Abura’s reign, and now no one has any idea as to where it might be. It could be anywhere, or in the possession of anyone, although such a person likely wouldn’t know exactly what it is that they had managed to get their hands on.
In episode #9 of Daima, it’s revealed that Hybis, the Demon soldier in service to King Kadan, has a living eye attached to his belt buckle. Bulma is immediately grossed out by the eyeball and its continued movements, but Hybis thinks it’s cool. He claims to have found it on the ground in the mountains, and decided to mount it on his belt buckle because it was interesting. Hybis seems to be under the impression that the eye is still active because it’s a part of a zombie, but what if that’s not the case at all? What if, in fact, this eye is the Evil Third Eye which Gomah seeks?
Who Will Have the Third Eye in the End?
The Evil Third Eye Could Alter the Balance of Power
Since the Third Eye was lost, it could’ve been anywhere, including the mountains where Hybis found this eye. It’s said that the Evil Third Eye only grants power if worn on the forehead, so that would explain why Hybis seemingly isn’t benefiting from any kind of power-up. It’s a bit risky, though, as Gomah and others on his level may be able to recognize this as the Third Eye, and make a move to steal it. The heroes wouldn’t even know it was something worth protecting! In a sense, it’s similar to Gohan wearing the Four-star Dragon Ball on his hat, right out in the open despite its power.
Gomah getting his hands on the Third Eye would be bad, but there are worse possibilities. If the Evil Third Eye were to somehow end up in the possession of Majin Kuu, for example, that could be incredibly dangerous, enhancing the deadly Majin’s power further. It’s yet to be proven if Hybis’ eye is the Third Eye, but it seems like far too much of a coincidence for Dragon Ball Daima to have set up to ignore.
