Started as a Christmas Parade in 1934, the Chicago Thanksgiving Parade is rated one of the top Thanksgiving parades in the country, just behind the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade in New York City.
The parade became a Thanksgiving tradition in 1999, it travels down historic State Street in Downtown Chicago and will be aired nationally on PlutoTV, last year the parade was hosted by actors Jen Lilley from ‘Days of Our Lives’, and Jesse Hutch from ‘Batwoman’ and ‘Dream Wedding’.

Sterling Silver Studio from Superior announced that they have been selected to perform at this year’s parade. Their Company 91 Parade Corps, who you may have seen at several parades this summer around the Northland, will be making the trip to Chicago for Thanksgiving.
In a social media post about the selection, Sterling Silver says,
