One thing’s for sure: Donald Trump and golf go hand in hand. Having become president for a second time, Trump’s political journey may take new directions, but his involvement with golf is likely to evolve as well. With his strong ties to LIV Golf, there’s a good chance that his numerous golf courses worldwide could soon host new events for the PIF-backed league.
LIV Golf’s motto is to go international and that goes perfectly with Trump’s many golf courses. Here are the top 5 golf courses that may be included in the 2025 schedule of the Saudi-backed league.
1. Trump National Washington D.C.

The Trump National Washington D.C. has two different 18-hole courses, one overlooking the historic Potomac River, the Riverview, and the other, made especially for the professional, a champions course. Because of its intricacies and challenges, the Senior major, KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship was hosted at the championship course in 2017. In 2024, LIV Golf hosted seven tournaments in the United States and the season finale was hosted in Dallas, in 2025 the Trump National in D.C. may become one venue.
2. Trump National Doral Golf Club
The history of the Doral Golf Club is much richer than many people might be aware of. Since the inauguration of the club in 1959, for the next fifty years, it hosted many tournaments of the PGA Tour. The first-ever tournament was the Doral Country Club Open Invitational in 1962, and many others including the World Golf Championship.
Even Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson’s infamous duel happened at the Doral Golf Club. And since the inception of the LIV Golf in 2022, the Saudi-backed league has hosted two-season finale events in Doral. Although the complete 2025 season schedule hasn’t been revealed, it may not be wrong to assume that LIV Golf will host another event at Trump National Doral Golf Club as always.
3. Trump Turnberry
One of the most historic and iconic in South Ayrshire, Scotland, is Trump Turnberry. The history goes back to 1908 when the First professional tournament was hosted and since then; it has been a venue for many other tournaments including the Open Championship. Trump Turnberry was once in the Open ROTA, but after the 47th President took over, the R&A pulled it out of the schedule.
Additionally, this year, the LIV Golf pros’ performance at the Open Championship Royal Troon was not as impressive. Many opined that the Saudi-backed league needed a links course tournament just as the PGA Tour has the Scottish Open. Following this, LIV Golf may add a new event and hold it at Turnberry as it has proven to be best for professional events.
4. Trump National Bedminster
Bedminster has always been in LIV Golf’s schedule and has successfully hosted three LIV Golf Bedminster events, where Henrik Stenson in 2022, Cameron Smith in 2023, and in the 2024 season, Jon Rahm won the event. As LIV Golf never removed Bedminster from, in the 2025 season too the PIF-backed league would probably not remove the championship golf course from its schedule in the future.

5. Trump National Golf Club Florida
Florida can undoubtedly said to be the home for many golfers, and it also has one of the best properties of Donald Trump in West Palm Beach. Surprisingly, it is only one golf course of the 47th President, which is environmentally friendly as it was certified by Audubon in 2006.
Additionally, the 18-hole course has been ranked inside the top 50 on the Golf Digest and GOLF Magazine. The par-72 course hosted the 2023 Aramco Team Series in Florida and was an 8-year-long host for the LPGA Championship. and was also a venue for the 2008 Maybach Cup. The Championship course has always been the most-coveted one and LIV Golf may not want to lose it in 2025.
